General FAQs

How does the money back guarantee work?

If you are not satisfied with any of the products from Superior Nano for any reason, please email info@superiornano.com and we would be happy to help. Unlike many other brands, we are confident in our ability to be the new skincare standard. Any unused products, including a receipt and name, can be returned to Superior Nano, 4505 County Road 92, Waconia, Minnesota 55387.

What is nano?

A nano or nanometer is a measurement that is one-billionth of a meter. Ultra-small particles are absorbed more rapidly and penetrate more deeply into the skin and our nanoparticles are the smallest of the small.  By using the nanoparticles, the active ingredients in our products permeate into the skin 2-3 times faster than conventional products. Worldwide, Superior Nano offers the only skincare and joint relief products based on lipid nanoparticles.

Other companies claim their products are nano; is it the same as Superior Nano?

Yes and No. Nano is a word that companies use to describe their products if the particle size is less than 100 nanometers.“Nano” is a popular word for products across various industries. Everything from hair dryers, skateboards, and candy to cars and yachts use nano in the name. Most often, "nano companies" will only "nanoize"  one active ingredient or particle while the rest are conventional size. However, only Superior Nano topical products "nanoize" all ingredients for increased bioavailability. And we provide proof: Each batch has a Certificate of Analysis which shows the particle size distribution from dynamic light scattering.

Are nanoparticles dangerous?  No, none of Superior Nano’s products contain any ingredients that are harmful or dangerous. Your safety is our first concern and we will always select ingredients of the highest quality.  There are some industry concerns about metal oxide nanoparticles in sunscreens but none of Superior Nano's products contain, nor will ever contain, metal oxides.

Are there any toxic ingredients in Superior Nano's products?

No. The new skincare standard is transparent. We place a very strong emphasis on using only ingredients that have a proven history of being safe in topical products. None of our products contain any of the following:

  • Parabens

  • Phthalates

  • Propylene glycol

  • Sulfates

  • Silicones

  •  Ethanolamines

  •  Synthetic fragrances

  •  Mineral oil

Skin Health FAQs

Do you use any synthetic fragrances?

We  never use any synthetic fragrances in our products. Our fragrances are alcohol-free essential oils, which provide a light and fresh scent.

What products should I use?

Always start with clean skin.  Try our nanoCleanse which cleans away dirt and makeup without stripping out the moisture in your skin. Then select one of our 3 serums for antiaging and moisturizing.

Daytime Radiance: This product may be used day and night if you don't want the other ingredients we added to the 2 other products below. We added all botanical moisturizers, so you don't need any additional moisturizers.

Nighttime Therapy:  This has all the good antiaging and moisturizing active ingredients as Daytime Radiance, but also adds Retinol (Vitamin A) for cell repair and rejuvenation. If you don't want Retinol, just use Daytime Radiance or nanoLuminious at night.

nanoLuminous:  Coming Soon.  This is our antioxidant formula.  We have more than 10 antioxidants in the formula to combat free radicals like UV light, pollution, and blue light from computers.  We  added more skin nutrients too.  We reduced the amount of botanical moisturizers for those people that don't need as much of the moisturizers as the Daytime Radiance or Nighttime Therapy products, typically for oily skin or younger people.

Possible combinations:

  • Daytime Radiance for morning; Nighttime Therapy at night.

  • If you don't want Retinol, you can use Daytime Radiance for both morning and night.

  • nanoLuminious (Coming Soon) morning and night, or nanoLuminous  once and use either Day or Night for the second time.

Do you have a serum to help with dark spots or bags under my eyes?

Yes.  In addition to the combined antiaging and moisturizing products described above for the entire face, we also make 2 targeted skin correcting serums to address specific problems.  nanoBright is for dark spots.  nanoLift is for puffiness or bags under the eye area. For either product, pump a small amount out and  gently pat it into the areas with the dark spots or under the eye, twice a day.  Both of these products should be applied prior to the antiaging and moisturizing products (as well as other company's products).

How do I use the skin health products, Daytime Radiance, Nighttime Therapy and nanoLuminious?

After cleaning your skin, use one pump of the Daytime Radiance, Nighttime Therapy or nanoLuminious. The pump is a premeasured amount so if 1 pump is too much, use 1/2 pump next time.  It should soak in your skin, typically right away, but at most within 5 minutes.  Targeted correcting serums like our nanoBright or nanoLift (and other brands of antiaging products) should be applied first, before these antiaging & moisturizing serums.   (The pump bottle automatically delivers 1/150 of an ounce each and every time. If your face feels too “wet” it means you have applied more than you needed to, just spread it on your neck, and next time apply less.)

Does the Nighttime Therapy need to be used differently because of the Retinol?

Retinol is an excellent active ingredient for restoring skin cells, but most dermatologists recommend applying retinol products at night when your skin is not exposed to the sun. If you are worried about a slight reaction to Retinol, we suggest introducing Nighttime Therapy slowly, starting 2-3 times a week. On the nights you do not use Nighttime Therapy, you can use the Daytime Radiance product. As your skin adjusts to the Retinol, continue to add it more often into your night routine.

Do I need to use a moisturizer too?

No! We wanted to simplify your skin care routine and save you time and money. We added all botanical moisturizers with the antiaging active ingredients into one serum.  All antiaging & moisturizing serums have cold pressed seed oils:  cranberry, red raspberry, black cumin and sunflower.  Our skin care page explains the benfit of each of these cold press seed oils, which has more great skin benefits than just moisturizing.

When will I see results?

Since everyone's skin is different, results may vary from person to person. Typically, if you use the product daily, you will see a noticeable difference in skin hydration and radiance in 2 weeks. Within 4 weeks, you should see a significant improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  If you are using nanoBright, dark spot corrector, it takes 2 months or more so see results (just like other products on the market, it is a slow process).
